Abstract

The development of the times requires that China's urbanization development must move from simple urban construction to an era of comprehensive urban construction with "managing cities" as the core. No matter which era, the sculptures of landscape are engraved with the traces of the times, marking the cultural heritage of each region and symbolizing different aesthetic concepts. Therefore, people's demand for urban sculpture is also increasing, which gives the citySculpture design brings good development opportunities, making it an indispensable part of the city. This has also resulted in the emergence of large differences in artistic aesthetics and creative levels among participants. In recent years, a large number of sculptures of low artistic level have appeared in urban construction across the country. Therefore, the form of sculpture is also the focus of attention of designers and theorists. In order to study and analyze the main ways of urban sculpture design under the influence of regional culture, this article first analyzes the relationship between urban sculpture and regional culture and the significance of regional culture in urban sculpture design.
