Abstract

Xinjiang is one of the most important reserve bases of energy resources in China. Exploring and developing Xinjiang’s resources can increase domestic energy supply and promote China’s economic development. However, along with inducing rapid economic growth in China, it also leads to serious depletion of energy resources and unsustainable economic development. This paper studies how to achieve sustainable development under energy constraints in Xinjiang.
