Abstract
At present, there are more than 300 ancient villages in China. They are a kind of heritage which is very different from material and intangible cultural heritage. Ancient villages witness and record rich historical information and cultural landscape, having high historical significance and cultural value. However, with the development of modern society and the acceleration of urbanization process, the protection of ancient villages is difficult to adapt to the urbanization construction.
