Abstract

The world’s multicultural trend is unstoppable. Culture is the blood of a nation as well as the spiritual pillar of a country. Under such a multicultural background, the contemporary youth are bound to be influenced in their thoughts and behaviors. A nation will prosper only when its young people thrive. So ideological and political education in colleges and universities is the top priority that affects the development of the country, the nation and the society. Doing a good job of ideological and political education under the multicultural background is a task that we are facing in this new era. This paper will discuss the influence of multiculture on the ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and how to integrate the two.
