Abstract
Under the background of “overseas promotion of Chinese culture”, the promotion of contemporary college students’ cultural self-confidence has become an important research for educators. However, with the rapid development of globalization, the thought of college students is impacted by foreign culture, which makes some students have some problems such as unclear understanding of national culture and lack of cultural self-confidence. This paper analyzes the countermeasures of Enhancing Cultural Self-Confidence in College English Teaching from the Perspective of “Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in All Courses”, in order to achieve the goal of improving the quality of English teaching and students’ cultural self-confidence so as to promote students’ cross-cultural communicative competence and the inheritance ability of traditional Chinese culture.
