Abstract
In order to evaluate the effectiveness of discipline construction in Chinese universities, it is necessary to construct a discipline evaluation system suitable for Chinese characteristics. In this paper, a new evaluation system based on quantitative evaluation is proposed by using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The evaluation system takes into account three first-level indicators: discipline team, discipline platform and scientific research achievements. The evaluation system takes into account the nature differences of different disciplines. Through the established method, the academic strength of Sichuan provincial universities is evaluated, and the evaluation results are reasonable and credible. This work can be used as a reference for the decision-making of universities and government departments.
