Abstract
The "Postponement" concept was originally introduced by Alderson (1950) in the article "Marketing efficiency and delay principle". Postponement strategy which allows company quickly respond to customer needs as well as maintain the advantage of low-cost production. However, most of the current research focuses on the practices in western company, but are Chinese companies fit to use this strategy to solve their problems. The paper will take Chinese company into practice, reveal the effect and applicability of postponement strategy in Chinese enterprise.
