Abstract
As an important part of the school, college sports plays a very important role in cultivating talents. Therefore, how to create healthy school sports and develop high-quality talents in an all-round way is worth learning today. This paper puts forward the development model of physical education through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of physical education reform in public universities. From the perspective of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, this paper analyzes the current situation of physical education curriculum construction and reform through literature review and comprehensive analysis. The conclusion is that the curriculum content is diversified; the curriculum structure is reasonable; the curriculum objectives are specifically proposed; the curriculum evaluation tends to be rational. However, there are also a number of problems that can be summarized as follows: the analysis and resolution of problems lacks rationality; theoretical research is not just empirical research; the leading role of teachers and the main part of students as classes remain ambiguous. This paper has carried out some useful discussions on the practical level, trying to provide theoretical and practical support for the reform of higher education physical education curriculum in China..
